A fire always on
Yet I felt none.
Forever in desires and pain
It kept me down.

A fire in me, burning,
A fire trailing.

A fire that stood it's ground,
Stood tall, through a separation
Forever holding me back but bound
By a deadly dissociation.

A fire never dousing,
A fire trailing.

A fire that fancied an affection,
A care, a love so deep so long,
Forever and ever, never losing traction
Yet somehow broken, an incomplete song.

A fire in me, blazing,
A fire now trailblazing.
