‘Wow, I’m tired listening to it’, she gasped,
As they walked along dwelling on his past.

‘But, but, but … I don’t understand’
‘What did you see in me?’
‘Why me? Why?’ she badgered him.
He took a long pause, pulled her,
Held her hand to his heart
And said ‘Because after all this, you still chose me’

Moving in front of him, she stopped
And said, ‘But I chose a strong man’.

‘Okay now, carry me home’ she ordered!
Smiling, he obliged happily.
